A very early and oversized example by this carver from Havre de Grace, Maryland from the late 1920’s with extraordinary scratch paint and great form. The ballast weight is an elongated “dog bone” style weight that remained his signature throughout his career. There is minimal wear on the underside and a surface crack on the back which is stable. It measures 16.5” long.
