Extraordinary morning dove by this well-known carver from Salisbury, Maryland, Davison spent endless hours with Lem & Steve Ward in Crisfield learning the tricks of the trade. This well carved example has its wings out and head turned providing a lifelike pose circa 1970’s. Extensive wing and feather delineation and detailed paint pattern make this one of the finest examples of a dove we’ve ever handled. It measures 11” l.
