Don Briddell Green Wing Teal Pair

Don Briddell was born and raised in Crisfield, Maryland and learned the trade from the famous Ward Brothers. His carving and painting styles exhibit their influence on his decoys, particularly his earlier hunting style birds. This pair of oversized green wing teal are in original paint, signed and dated 1961 on the wooden keels. The drake has raised wings and measures 17” while the hen measures 15” long.
