Ike Phillips Black Duck
Early black duck from Wachapreague, Virginia circa 1890’s made from old growth myrtle wood that was available on the barrier islands at that time. Similar to cypress knees, it shows natural imperfections that add character. The decoy is enhanced with original surface and has been peppered with bird shot mostly used for shorebird hunting.
