An outstanding hen widgeon by this Patchogue, Long Island carver who made very stylized decoys identified by a ridge along the centerline of the back. Purchased from a Lowcountry South Carolina estate, it was used on a rice plantation back in the glory days of duck hunting. The paint has faded with remnants still visible along with shot scars from use, it measures 15” l.
