Ralph Reed Mallard Pair
Nice little pair of miniature mallards by Ralph Reed of Chincoteague, Virginia circa 1960 with his ink stamps on the undersides of both birds. With raised wings and fluted tails, they both have darkened from decades on a shelf or mantle over a fireplace. The drake is carved in an alert poster and measures approximately 7” long while the hen is a preener measuring about 6” long.
