Here we have a stylish drake redhead from the Buffalo area of Upstate New York. It is a bold carving with hard turned head, unique bill carving and sturdy hardware for use on Lake Erie. Most of the decoy is in original paint, however, the white appears to be a second coat. There are also red, painted initials on the bottom that appear to be “M. G. B.” It measures 13” long.
