Will Heverin Redhead
Classic drake redhead by William Heverin who was born near Carpenter’s Point in 1860 and later moved to Charlestown, both on the Cecil County side of the Susquehanna Flats. In early repaint, this example probably dates to around 1900 and also bears a “HP” hot brand under the tail, purportedly from the Pinky Patchell Rig. Measuring 14.5” long, this decoy would make a fine addition to any collection!
